INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT PROGRAMS
The IOP is the most preferred, effective and affordable level of care for persons who want to receive treatment while continuing to meet their family and career obligations.
Programs can vary in length from 4 weeks to 90 days. Most clients admitted into the intensive outpatient program can successfully achieve all their treatment plan goals in six weeks. However, some clients participate in more than 4 weeks of treatment, based on their individual clinical needs (and severity of legal problems if present).
MEDICAL & PSYCHOLOGICAL ASPECTS OF ADDICTIONAn important part of the treatment process involves teaching our clients and their families about the medical & psychological aspects of chemical dependency. We provide information about alcoholism and all major drugs of abuse including prescription medications - lortab, oxycontin, etc. - and we provide education about the signs, symptoms and coping skills for co-occurring emotional and/or psychiatric problems that may exist.
SMALL GROUPS
Clients participate in small therapy
groups that provide a safe, nurturing, and very supportive environment. Clients begin to explore the impact that alcoholism or addiction has had upon their lives and the lives of those they love. Clients also participate in individual and family therapy sessions throughout treatment.
